The online exhibition on eastsidegalleryexhibition.com shows video interviews with artists and contemporary witnesses, various topics on the East Side Gallery and the artworks in their original state of 1990.

Die Online-Ausstellung gibt Einblick in persönliche Geschichten von Menschen, die 2011/12 als Geflüchtete nach Deutschland gekommen sind und zeitweise im Übergangswohnheim für Geflüchtete in unmittelbarer Nähe der Erinnerungsstätte Notaufnahmelager Marienfelde gelebt haben.

“Risking Freedom” consists of five multimedia tours presenting exemplary stories about German-German escape assistance from 1961-1989. Each tour includes documents, films, and interviews with contemporary witnesses.

The online exhibition “Arriving. Life After Forced Migration” is currently under development and will be presented at the end of the year.
