The Parliament of Trees was created by nature and art activist Ben Wagin in 1990 and has been redesigned several times since then. Since June 2021, the Parliament of Trees is preserved by the Berlin Wall Foundation in the spirit of Ben Wagin. The educational and outreach program focuses on the themes of remembrance, nature and art.

The Parliament of Trees is located at Schiffbauerdamm (next to house no. 40, Federal Press Conference), 10117 Berlin.

The Parliament of Trees is also open on the following days from 12 p.m. till 5 p.m:
- Day of German Unity, Friday, October 3, 2025
- Day the Berlin Wall fell, Sunday, November 9, 2025
- Berlin Freedom Week, Saturday, November 15, 2025
Admission is free.
Price for tours: €3.50 per person, reduced €2.50 (students, unemployment pay recipients, people with a disabled identification or Berlin Pass). Groups with less than ten people pay a flat fee of €35.
There is no charge for pupils.

The Parliament of Trees is only accessible during opening hours. A path leads through a gate, which is wheelchair-accessible, into the historic site. The path is slightly sloping.
The front part of the Parliament of Trees is accessible for people with walking difficulties and people in wheelchairs.

You can hire mobile seating.
Toilets and changing table
There is no toilet available.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are permitted throughout the grounds of the Parliament of Trees.
Medication
Medication bags may be taken into the Parliament of Trees.
