„Memento“, Rüdiger Röhl and Jan Skuin, 1993

A ground relief by artists Rüdiger Roehl and Jan Skuin on Sonnenallee, near Heidekampgraben, commemorates the events of November 9, 1989. The district offices of the neighboring districts of Treptow-Köpenick and Neukölln commissioned the memorial plaque and unveiled it to the public on March 20, 1993, on the anniversary of the first free elections in the GDR (March 18, 1990).
